Description
The Halong Bay is maybe the most photographed site in Vietnam. In total it is said there are 1969 islands over approximatively 1500 km². There are many different legends about how the limestone karsts were created, involving dragons and jade, but it took millions of years of marine regression and transgression to form these islands. Halong Bay is twice Unesco world heritage: once for its beauty and a second time for its biodiversity. On this shot you can notice the karsts and a typical floating house which is a shrimp and fish farm.
