The picture with which everything started. I shot this back in 2004 on the Titicaca lake in Peru with a Contax 139 Quartz from 1979. So i was quite proud of this first good photograph, as i didn't know anything of exposure.
These natives of today ain't full blood Uros anymore, as the last died in the sexties. The Uros of today are descendants of Uros, Aymara and Quechua natives. They continue the way of life and culture of their ancestors by living on floating islands made of totora reed, fishing and producing textiles.
Photographed with a Contax 139 Quartz, printed in a 20x30cm size and scanned. I re-edited this shot for four times already, now it's perfect
Contax 139 Quartz, Carl Zeiss 50mm F 1.7, Hoya UV filter.
Thank you very much... According to me it's one of my best photographs. It was taken analog with a cam which is 27 years old or even more... on a hubbling reed boat... i just took one shot so it had to be good
It used to be a little paper my ex gf (5-6 years ago) put on her door when we were living and studying in Gent. I asked if i could have it when she went back to Greece, scanned it, put it in black 'n white... So that's it It comes from a metal magazine too

A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
