The blue-water falls or simply "Agua Azul" can be found in the lush tropical hills of Chiapas, Mexico. In the dry season the water turns blue, turquoise and emerald green due to the high mineral content found in the limestone. The paradisiac colours shift to a dull brown in the rainy season and isn't much worth a visit. There are several rivers, lakes and waterfalls that have these colours in the region, as well as passed the border in Guatemala. A true turquoise paradise! Exif: 24mm, F8, 30sec, ISO 100
