The Blue Jeans Dart Frog or Oophaga Pumilio is commonly found through Costa Rica and is one of its national symbols. This is a subspecies of the poison dart frogs that are found in Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. If the frog doesn't eat ants, it will not be poisonous, as the frog has a special digestion system to use the ants' poison in secretion. Also famous for the dart frogs is to transport the small babies into bromeliad's, high up in the trees. The maximum size of this frog is 22mm.

Thank you a lot for the kind comment :) I also quite got in love with these frogs. So small, but i had many specific spots on where to find them... In national parks, in hotels... Always fun to find them :)
