This photograph was taken at the entrance of Angkor Thom near the city Siem Reap, Cambodia. On most gates there is a row of 54 demons on one side and 54 Gods on the other. It's a motif taken from the story of the "Churning of the ocean of milk".

The city of Angkor Thom (Great Angkor or Great City) has an epic scale of 10 km² and was built by Angkor's greatest king, Jayavarman VII (1181-1219). At the city's height it may have supported a population of one million people in the surrounding region.

Nikon D300, Nikon 50mm 1.8, tripod.

More than glad people can "learn" something about other cultures :)

SOme of my clients asked me yesterday, or told me they see i like to teach things to others... Everybody was very happy of the tour. 24 people, and all left now, and i'm alone... Pfff :(

Going to eat something at the hotel resto i guess...

It's very sad: you with people and you alone, but you see beautiful places and learn lot interesting historical, geographic stories... Wish for you good company and friends! Write me, I always glad receive news from you, and think in far Israel you have friend :)
